How we work
Medical review
Last updated October 12, 2026.
Where it stands
Our articles are not yet reviewed by a licensed clinician. We’d rather tell you that plainly than let you assume otherwise.
We’re looking for a licensed physical therapist (PT or DPT) to review our articles.
What we do until then
- Every article cites its sources and links them where it can.
- Every article says what the evidence doesn’t show.
- Every article about an injury, surgery or rehab has a “When not to wait” box. It lists warning signs and points you to care.
- A person checks every fact against the original source before publishing. See how we use AI.
None of this replaces a clinician. Your surgeon’s or physical therapist’s plan comes first. Read our medical disclaimer.
When that changes
When a reviewer joins, this page will name them and their license. Each article they review will say so, with the date.
